Tom Noda Obituary

Tom Tamotsu Noda

Resident of Dixon

Passed away peacefully on October 25, 2010, at the age of 86. Dearly beloved husband of the late Doris Sumiye Noda; loving father of Doug Noda and Janis Noda Ikeda; devoted grandfather of Scott, Ashley and Danielle Noda and Kyle and Bryan Ikeda; loving father-in-law of Alicia Noda and Ed Ikeda. A longtime resident of Dixon CA, Tom was born in Woodland, CA, on February 23, 1924. He managed the Spice Islands Farm in Dixon for 34 years. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking and visiting Cache Creek and Boomtown. He leaves behind his sister, Aya Endow, of Hood River, Oregon and was preceded in death by his siblings Taeko, George and Frank Noda. He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews, and leaves behind many longtime friends in Dixon and the San Jose area.

Funeral services to be held Friday, October 29, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the San Jose Buddhist Church Betsuin, 640 North 5th Street, San Jose, CA. Interment immediately following at Oak Hill Memorial Park, 300 Curtner Avenue, San Jose, CA.
