Victoria Strobach Obituary

Victoria M. Strobach

Resident of Doylestown, PA,

died peacefully on Sunday, November 14, 2010 at Pine Health Care Center. She was 88.

She was the beloved wife of 66 years to Joseph T. Strobach. Born in Yonkers, NY, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Victoria (Tymkiewicz) Selzda, and sister of the late Frances Selzda, Stella Baner, Genevieve Martin and Florence Caldicott.

Victoria, "Honey" as she was known to her family and friends was a resident of Doylestown for 5 years.

She was a proud member of the League of Women Voters and accomplished coloratura soprano who performed in several events though out Westchester County, NY. She was not only talented with her voice but she was an excellent seamstress and designer of dresses. She will be deeply missed by her loving and devoted family.

She is also survived by her children and their spouses, Joseph T. Strobach Jr. of Sunnyvale, CA, Dr. Richard P. Strobach and his wife, Barbara, of Hammond, LA, Jeanne M. Hubbard and her husband, Dr. John of Doylestown, her sister Dorothy Hettich and her husband Edward of Pittsburgh, and her three grandchildren, Capt. Meghann Strobach D.O., Bridgette, and Rebecca Strobach.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewings Sunday evening, November 21, 2010, from 7:00 to 9:00pm and Monday from 9:00am until 10:15 am at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 241 E. Butler Ave. (Rt.202 & Sandy Ridge Rd.) New Britain, and to her Funeral Mass 11:00 am at Mary Mother of the Redeemer Church 1325 Upper State Rd. North Wales, PA. 19454. Entombment will be in Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery Doylestown PA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory maybe made to Mary Mother of the Redeemer Catholic Education Center at the above address.
