Walter A. Carter

Resident of Santa Cruz

Nov. 22 1925-Sept. 3 2010

Walt left this world for a new adventure at the age of 84. He served proudly during World War II with The United States Army's 10th Mountain Division. Walt attended the University of Santa Clara. He enjoyed a career for forty years as a Hydraulic Engineer. Walt loved his loyal Shih Tzu "Muffin" and to travel, especially cruises.

His favorite vacations were to the Island of Kona Hawaii.

He truly enjoyed his many friends and his extended residence at Oak Tree Villa.

He is survived by his Wife Doris, His Daughter Christina Rice and Grandson Cody Rice. Many Cousins' & Second Cousins' in the Carter family. Also, the Bowden's, His extended family.

A Memorial Service will be Tuesday September 14th at 2:00 at the Community Covenant Church, 2700 El Rancho Dr. Santa Cruz, Ca 95060

In lieu of flowers Walt would like contributions to "Rocket Dog" a rescue organization.415-642-4786 www.rocketdogrescue.org.
