Dear Sisemore family,
In 1976, I joined the carpenters apprenticeship program with Local 751 in Santa Rosa. John Walsh was my neighbor and I suggested that he also join the program, which he did and he promptly went to work. A little later and being in between jobs, John suggested that I try to work for Webb. I applied and was hired on. I worked for Webb from 10/78-6/79, again from 8/79-9/79 and later from 9/80-11/80. I could not have worked with a better contractor or a better crew, headed up by Joe Heald.
Webb trusted John and I (two green apprentices) with laying out and framing one of the medical offices at Warrick Hospital. Infinately patient, Webb told us not to be afraid of making mistakes and to ask if we did not understand something. He endured the time that it took us to get the job done, but we got a taste of responsibility and trust and became better carpenters for it.
On another job for Webb doing cedar sidewall shingles on an apartment complex in Rincon Valley, the smell of cut cedar became so ingrained in me that when smelling it today, I still think of that job and working for Webb. These were good days.
Like John, I also am still working in the construction industry, married 26 years, and with my wife Christina, have raised four children. One, a son named Austin, also joined the carpenters apprenticeship program and just turned out as a journeyman. Over the years, I have tried to convey what I have learned from such people as Webb to take pride in their work, to work an honest day, and to be the best that they can in whatever they do.
I, too, am indebted to Webb for the lessons I have learned from him which carry into my life today. I am saddended at his passing.
Love, Mike Keller

Dear Family & Friends of Webb;
Over 32 years ago, Webb hired me as an apprentice carpenter. It was pretty much my first job after I mustered out of the Navy.
At first, I'm sure we BOTH didn't think it would work out. It was supposed to be a summer job until I went back to school at SRJC, but Webb's patience and kindness somehow managed to crack the very large rock of my ignorance & inexperience... Not to mention a few good bumps from his foreman & friend, Joe Heald.
Now, all these years later, I'm still working at the trade, married (31 years and counting...), & with my wife, Carmen, raised a son who is now an engineer.
It wouldn't have happened without Webb. No doubt about it.
He holds a cherished place in my heart & I will be forever in his debt.
Love,
John & Carmen Walsh
P.S.
There is so little space here for it, but I'd very much like to share stories about Webb with any and all who knew him. Please feel free to contact me.

Dear Sisemore Family,
I am sorry to read about the passing of Mr. Sisemore. I am taking a trip down "Memory Lane" and remembering your family from the days of Hacienda Drive... what a fun time that was! All the neighbors were so great. I send my heartfelt sympathy and condolences for your loss.
