William Eagan Obituary

William E. Eagan

Resident of San Jose

Born in Cincinnati, OH on Aug. 18, 1925 to Dave and Martina Eagan, one of seven children, died Oct. 9, 2010 in Cameron Park, CA. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Rosemary (Costa) Eagan, two children Dennis (Deborah) Eagan, Debra (Robert) Stoddard; ten grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. He graduated from University of Cincinnati 1949, served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II, began his career at General Electric in Ohio. In 1968 transferred to G.E.'s Nuclear Energy Division San Jose; retired 1985 a Specialist in Finance Fuel Area. There will be a private family funeral at St. Francis of Assisi-San Jose when Rosemary's health permits and memorial service at St. Michael's-Ohio. Bill's brain tissue was given to Indiana University for Alzheimer's Research. Donations to Indiana University Foundation, P.O. Box 660245, Indianapolis, IN 46266 (Ref# 32-MGEN-04-1 on check), Villages Medical Auxiliary, or a charity of your choice.
