William, loving husband, Papa, Opa, Oom, brother and friend to many, was preceded in death of his loving wife Riek on October 15th 2009. William is survived by his children, Stef and Shawn, Ellis and Chuck, Frank and Sharon, Pieter and Renee; grandchildren, Joey, Tierra, Dalton, Kyle, Ethan, Chase and Sydney. William, or Bill, to many of his friends, was well known and respected throughout the San Jose area for his contribution to the soccer community and league development and will be missed by all his former players and fellow coaches.
In the early evening of October 6th, 2010, William passed away peacefully in his sleep with his family by his side and is now back together with his loving wife Riek.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday October 21 2010 at 10:00am at West Hills Community Church, 16695 DeWitt Avenue in Morgan Hill. In lieu of flowers, please continue the fight against ALS-Lou Gehrig's disease and donate to the Greater Bay Area Chapter at www.alsabayarea.org or Breast Cancer at www.breastcancer.org.
