Wilma McCall Obituary

Wilma "Maurine"

Mc Call

Resident of San Jose

11-23-1912 to 11-15-2010

Maurine was just one week shy of her 98th birthday. This is quite amazing as she almost did not survive her birth. She was born in Plains, Kansas to Ethel and Roy Traylor. She married the boy across the street, Maurice "Mac" McCall. They moved to California in 1937, and she never looked back.

She is survived by her daughter Suej (Carolyn) and her son Gordon (Bev), her grandchildren Mike (Cristina) and Kelley (Ken), and two great grandchildren, Lindsay and Ryan.

After Mac's death in 1966, she worked at Lockheed. She later retired and spent her time traveling around the world. She loved dancing, schmoozing with friends, parties and playing canasta with her card group. She loved her cat, Missy, too.

She had a very curious mind and a keen sense of humor. She also was a very loyal friend to many.

We know that she is now united with her beloved Mac and finally at peace.

Everyone who knew her will miss her compassion and thoughtfulness.

Memorial services will be held at various times and places.
