Lynn, I'm still in shock trying to make sense of all this. I still can't believe that you were taking shortly after your last text to me. You will forever be my gal pal. I will miss our jokes we emailed each other, the funny texts and the encouraging words. When ever I see a face painting, I will think of you. When I see a roller derby match, I will think of you. I am in shock! I met Lynn thru BeautiControl...when I heard the news it was such disbelief!!! She was the nicest person and never made me feel like like an idiot for being clueless about make-up!! Your boys are in my thoughts and prayers!!

Lyn from the first day I met you at the Safeway with Chris while on patrol, I thought you were a very genuine and caring person. I knew Lynn in high school. She was friendly to everyone, had a radiant smile and a keen sense of what was out-of-the-mainstream cool, which made her intrinsically cool in my eyes. Even better yet was the fact that she didn't seem to care if everyone knew just how cool she was. She didn't look down on anyone. She was never mean or aloof. She was just always a positive energy--a ray of light wherever she went. Lynn, I'm so very sorry that your light has been extinguished. My prayers and thoughts are with your sons. You will be missed.

I met Lynn, when she began Amazing Face Paintings several years ago. The moment we met, we found ourselves chatting about living in Gilroy and bonding over all things mommy related. Every time I saw her after that, usually out in the community doing face painitings, she would give me a big hug and beautiful warm smile. She had such a beautiful light shining from within her. She was so full of life and Love, and I think that was a beautiful gift she gave to people around her everyday. She was an amazing artist as well. I am still stunned that she has left us. My heart aches for her boys. Lynn, you are deeply missed but know that the Love and light you shone on us still glows bright and keeps us warm inside. I wish your family blessings to heal now . Lynn, I never knew you, even though my family lived in Gilroy for 4 years/9 months. You are neighbors to one of my good friends. We met when Skylar came into my pre-school class, often dressed as a superhero. I thought "what a cool mom". Over the years we became friends and you always had such a happy smile or positive comment. A light shined brightly in your presence, you always uplifted those around you.
