Ronald passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones. He was 80 years old.
Ronald was born to George and Hazel Jarvis (deceased) in Framingham, MA. The family moved west, where he graduated from Santa Cruz High. Being a true patriot, Ronald joined the Air Force and served his country all around the world, including Vietnam, for over 20 years.
He loved family and was the devoted husband for over 60 years to Anita; Loving father to Ron (Barbara) Jarvis, Suzanne (Steve) Cryer, Deborah (Michael) Sissa, and David (Kimberly) Jarvis and Proud grandpa of Daniel, Matthew, Christopher (Bianca), Elizabeth, Tyler, Megan, Jessie and Nick; Great-grandpa of Khloe, Tatiana and Jake; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ronald enjoyed cheering on the 49ers and the Boston Red Sox. His love for travel and adventures often took him to Hawaii, which was always a favorite. Ronald would often be engaged for hours looking into the family tree and researching genealogies.
Services will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014 at 11:00 am at Campbell Memorial Chapel, 231 E. Campbell Ave. Interment will be at Los Gatos Memorial Park. Consider a donation to Wounded Warriors Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675, in memory of Ronald C. Jarvis.
