Louie was a talented entrepreneur who touched many people with his kindness and good humor.
At 17, Louie began a career in plumbing under the direction of Jack and Henry Clarke at Clarke Co. in Saratoga.
Louie and his wife Verna were married on June 7, 1959 and started Lou's Plumbing at the age of 33. They began several other business ventures in the years that followed.
Louie is widower of Verna Franich. Survived by his two daughters Genie O'Donnell and Genet Smiens and son in law Myron Smiens. Louie's grandchildren include Emily and Nick O'Donnell, Savanna, Mason, and Slater Smiens, of St. Helens Oregon.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Service Monday, March 10, 2014 at 11:30A.M. at LIMA & CAMPAGNA SUNNYVALE MORTUARY, 1315 Hollenbeck Ave, Sunnyvale. Graveside Service and Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, 22555 Cristo Rey Dr., Los Altos.
