Gloria Elizabeth (Triche) Boucree passed away peacefully on Apr 13, 2014 at the age of 90, surrounded by her loving family. Gloria was a native of New Orleans, LA, who resided in Santa Clara County for the last 50 years. As a Navy wife, she followed her husband James, a career Naval Officer around the country for many years before settling in Cupertino. Gloria was an active member of the St Joseph of Cupertino Parish, and participated in many parish activities over the years. Family was her first priority, and she enjoyed family gatherings, and camping with friends, neighbors, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many, she was beloved by all who knew her.
Gloria is survived by her loving husband James; sisters Cecile Eichorn and Elizabeth Mitchell of New Orleans, LA; children Raymond Boucree and his wife Millie of Chula Vista, CA, Jean Thompson-Bowers of San Diego, CA, Thomas Boucree and his wife Judy of Auburn, CA, Mary Callahan and her husband James of Campbell, CA, Paul Boucree and his wife Sally of Chula Vista, CA, fifteen grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Friends are invited to attend a Vigil Service Friday, April 25, 2014 at 7:00P.M. at LIMA & CAMPAGNA SUNNYVALE MORTUARY, 1315 Hollenbeck Ave., Sunnyvale. Funeral Mass Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 12:00P.M. at St. Joseph of Cupertino Catholic Church, 10110 N. DeAnza Blvd., Cupertino. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in Los Altos.
