Maria Rodriquez Obituary
Maria Rodriquez
Feb 7, 1948 - July 20, 2014
Resident of San Jose
Baptized Roman Catholic, Maria De Jesus Rodriquez is survived by her son, Adrian Noe; daughter Angelica Maria; and her grandchildren, Santiago and Mariah Rodriquez. Maria's siblings are Juanita Hernandez, Sylvia de Leon, Teresa Daley, Esaul Guerrero Jr. and Ruth Martinez.
Her family and friends remember Maria for her endless smiles, positive attitude and gentle spirit.
Her professional life in education spanned over three decades and in 2009 she retired from the Evergreen School District in San Jose, California. Maria was awarded, "Teacher of the Year" by her peers, though she fondly would say that her greatest achievement was preparing her young and adult education students to acquire their own dreams & ambitions.
Family & friends are invited to a Vigil & Rosary at 7:30pm on Thurs, July 24 at Most Holy Trinity, 2040 Nassau Drive, San Jose. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10am on Fri, July 25 at St. Catherine's Church, 356 N Villa Ave, Dinuba. Burial will follow at Smith Mountain Cemetery.
Maria's life is personified by the following simple yet profound quote, "I Touch the World, I Teach."
