Resident of San Jose, CA
Gayle Little, 59 years old, went to be with her Lord on August 21, 2014 unexpectedly. Dear daughter of Henry Little and the late Christine Little. Loving sister to Teresa Little Stevenson (Daniel) and Janie Little Bevens (Robert). Beloved Aunt "Titi" to Daniel Stevenson, Jr. (Sarah) and James Stevenson (Amber). Great Aunt to Daniel III "Trey", Skylar and Levi. Step-Aunt to Bridget Bevens, Robert Bevens, Jr., Sherry Bevens, Melanie Bevens-Guerra. Step-Great Aunt to Milla, Austin, Emily, Kimber, Sarah, Greg, Mykel, Cristopher, and Maylan. She leaves behind many other beloved family members and friends.
Born in San Jose, CA, a graduate of Camden High School and a graduate of San Jose State University, with honors.
Gayle worked many years at General Electric Corporation in San Jose as a Quality Control Inspector, but spent most of her professional life teaching at Sunnyvale School District at Columbia Middle School, Bishop and, most recently, Ellis Elementary. She loved teaching children for 20+ years and devoted herself to making a difference in their lives. She shared her love of reading, art, music and California history with her students.
Gayle enjoyed tea parties, vacationing with family on house boating trips at Lake Shasta, camping trips to Yosemite, snow skiing at Lake Tahoe and trips to Disneyland. She also traveled to Europe and the Caribbean. Nothing gave her greater joy than her nephews, great-nephews and great-niece.
A celebration of Gayle's life will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2014, 11:00 AM at Calvary Temple Church, 202 Railway Avenue, Campbell, CA 95008. She will be laid to rest at Los Gatos Memorial Park, 2255 Los Gatos-Almaden Road, San Jose, CA.
In her short time on earth, she lived a full life.
