Oh Dear Felix.
I was thinking of you today. Your friend pepper, your daily soaps, your vegetable garden, and of course your beautiful roses!
Iñigo and me miss you Begoña beyond imagination. Every World Cup, I am with you in spirit! Love you both!

Felix will be greatly missed by my family. When I could understand his stories, it was like getting a history lesson. He was our landlord for many years and was always good to us. It was an honor to know him.

Felix was a great man; I have so many fond memories! He named my son. The Basque Picnics in Los Banos. The time he left the lawn mower running in the middle of the lawn to watch a World Cup soccer game. I remember watching hundreds of people walking down Broadway from a bay window at the Hotel Du Midi on New Years when I was a little girl. The fried peppers, the tortillas, and the rice pudding. The beautiful roses and lovely vegetable garden. The birds that would come to your back yard that he fed. I will always have a place in my heart for Felix, I will miss him greatly, and so will my son Iñigo.
You will be missed!

I will miss your smile, sitting with you in your kitchen having coffee with cookie's, lunch with "at lease 1 glass of red wine because its good for you" while you tell stories of your Basqe heritage. I will miss when you call my name Arranza! You were a wonderful person to be around, you will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.

Felix Bilbao was the salt of the earth. He was a strong individual who loved his family, his garden and his Basque heritage. His smile was kind, and he had great common sense and integrity. When we think of good people, we think of Felix.
