Obituary Condolences

William L. Barker

Resident of So. San Francisco

Age 70, passed away peacefully with family present on August 17, 2010. Bill was a native Californian and long time resident of So San Francisco. He made his living as a house painter/bldg maintenance man but was a talented "Jack of Many Trades". He joked, "If I can't fix it, it ain't broke."

Free time was spent fishing and boating during long happy summers with family, bowling, and building/flying model airplanes. He also enjoyed people watching, ballgames, country music, dancing, and computer games. He loved family gatherings and laughing.

Bill created our blended family through 3 marriages. "Willito" is survived by his loving wife Norma Barker. Pop is also survived by sons-Jeff, Bill, Mike, and Gary, and daughters-Danielle, Julie, little Norma, and Holly. Papa also had 15 grand and 5 great grandkids.

A memorial service will be held on Sat, Aug 28 from 3-5 p.m. at the V.A. Medical Center Chapel (use main hosp entrance) at 4150 Clement St., San Francisco. The gathering will last a couple of hours, but HE WILL FOREVER BE IN OUR HEARTS. COLMA CREMATION
