Marshall Francis Fine, November 6, 2012 Marshall Fine passed away in Grass Valley, California. Born April 3, 1925 in San Jose, California to Pettis Fine Marie Beaudoin, he was the third of five boys. He attended San Jose High School graduating in 1943. He proudly served his country in the US Army Air Force, 500th Bombardment Group, during WWII, flying in over 20 missions. Marsh was also a Purple Heart recipient.
In 1949 he married Virginia Dugger raised six children. He attended the California Highway Patrol Academy, served 25 years retiring in 1980. Marshall also carried on a family tradition of painting, a legacy of his father's business, Fine Painting. He continued painting after retirement.
Marshall was a loving, generous humorous man. He will be remembered for his love of family, friends country.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Chris(Ron)Dunbar, Karen(Rick)Lazzarini, Marcia Fine, Steven Fine, April(Ryan)Lorrain, David(Kathryn)Fine, 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, many neices, nephews dear friends. Surviving him are his wife, Carol, brothers, Hubert, Gordon Spencer. He was pre deceased by his parents and brother, Irving.
As per his wishes, there will be no formal service.
