Anthony John LoFranco Sr.

Anthony John LoFranco, 80, went home to heaven on 1-2-13. Born in NY, NY on 5-5-1932 to the late John B. and Annette LoFranco, he moved to San Jose, CA in 1969. Anthony is survived by his caring wife of 55 years, Mary LoFranco and loving sister Nina Pietrangelo (Michael). A beloved Dad, is survived by seven children: Linda Jean Stone (Loren), John B, (Sabrina), Anthony Joseph, Victoria, Anthony John Jr. (Lisa), Lance (Cindy) and Christine Taylor (Mark). He is also survived by 15 Grand-children and 5 Great Grand children. Tony, as he was known by his friends, was a painter who retired from SJCC. A long time member of West San Jose Homing, he was an avid homing pigeon flyer. He served in the US Army during The Korean War. He will be dearly missed by his family. Private services were held at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon , CA on 1-9-2013. Donations may be made in his honor to Hospice of the Valley, SJ.
