Rose was born in Montrose, CO to Kameo & Suyeko Togami and passed away in Monterey Park, CA with her son & caregiver, Frank, lovingly by her side.
At the age of 8, she was sent to Chicago, IL to live with Mr. & Mrs. Fukuda. It was there that she met her husband, Masato Tamura, a judo instructor. They were married for almost 40 years until Mas passed away from cancer in 1982.
