Richard Esposto passed away peacefully on July 19, 2013 after a long illness, surrounded by his family at the age of 81 years old.
Richard was 1 of 12 children born to Louis Esposto and Sylvia Nicora in San Francisco, CA. He is survived by his two sisters Helene Ferris, Sylvia Roylance and his loving wife of 43 years Betty Esposto. Having no children of his own he raised four daughters as his own, Debbie, Diana, Ilene, and Kimberley. He is also survived by his 8 loving grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was a member of the Carpenters Union for over 50 years, The Native Sons of the Golden Gate West, the American Legion and was awarded with an honorable discharge from the US Army.
He will always be known for his charming, sunny disposition, positive attitude and willingness to help others. He was a man who was respected, loved and will always be remembered by family and friends.
A service will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Crippen & Flynn Carlmont Chapel, 1111 Alameda de las Pulgas in Belmont. Respects may be paid from 4pm-6pm with the service beginning at 6pm.
Interment will be held at the Veterans National Cemetery in Dixon, Ca at 1:30pm on July 31, 2013. Sign the guestbook at www.crippenflynn.com
