Mrs. Cassetta was dedicated to her family. She crocheted hundreds of blankets for newborn babies at local hospitals; was an active member of Redwood City Veterans Memorial Senior Center; and enjoyed traveling in the US, Canada, the Caribbean and Spain. She worked for Bemiss Jason Corp.; Benefit Consultants; and Kohler before her retirement. Mrs. Cassetta was a great dancer especially with her husband Steve. She was independent, living in her house and managing her affairs until she was over 100 years old, and passing her DMV driving test at 100.
Mrs. Cassetta is survived by her children, Robert Cassetta (Margaret) and Judith Page; a sister Emma Starr; 5 grandchildren, Jim Cassetta (Susan), Cheryl Marelich (Paul), Brad Cassetta (Michelle), Seth Page (Erin), and Ethan Page. 12 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive her. She was preceded in death by her husband Steve in 1984 and by 5 sisters.

A memorial service will celebrate Mrs. Cassetta's life 1:00 pm Sunday, September 22 at Crippen & Flynn Woodside Chapel, 400 Woodside Road in Redwood City.
