Isidoro Arevalo Obituary
Isidoro Duag Arevalo Resident of Fairfield May 4, 1929 - Oct. 1, 2013 After a brief illness, Isidoro passed away on Oct. 1, 2013. Isidoro (Izzy) attended Jefferson Elementary, Peter Burnett Jr. High and San Jose High School. In 1946, he joined the United States Army Air Force for three years-spending most of his enlistment as a communications telegrapher in Osaka, Japan. He later fulfilled his military obligation as a communication expert with the rank of Sergeant in the California National Guard. He was a successful Real Estate owner/realtor for Century 21 D and A Realty for many years in San Jose. Izzy's good nature, friendly and endearing smile and good sense of humor engendered a notable degree of respect and esteem by his family, friends and acquaintances. He will always be remembered as a person 'Izzy to deal with' and as a very generous human being. Izzy's parents, Isidoro Luna & Mercedes Duag Arevalo had four sons: Izzy, Raymond Duag (deceased) Carlos Francis and Walter Joseph. Izzy served as a great role model for his three younger brothers. His first wife, Jean Bond, and second wife, Joann Aniciete as well as his son Chris preceded him in death. He is survived by his son Steven and daughter ValJean and her husband John Harden, his step-daughter Connie Uchiyama, and grandsons: Anthony and Eric Tinerello and Gregory Guiterrez and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. A memorial 'Celebration of Life' will be held Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Rancho Solano Golf Club, 3950 Paradise Valley Drive, Fairfield, CA 94593.
