Resident of San Jose and Monte Sereno
Ingeborg Rosen, beloved wife of Edwin Rosen, devoted and loving mother to Robert Rosen of Alamo and Steven Rosen of Austin, Texas and Palo Alto; grandmother to Lara and Rachel, Kira and Braden; mother-in-law to Martha Husak and Kara Kockelman. Inge passed away peacefully on May 13th, 2013 with her family by her side.
Born near Wiesbaden, Germany, Inge met Ed while he was stationed at Wiesbaden Air Force Base. They spent 55 happy years together, relocating from Germany to New York and settling in Monte Sereno before retiring to The Villages in San Jose.
Inge was a beautiful woman inside and out. She gave herself completely and without reservation to her family and was Ed's dedicated partner in all things from the day they were married more than fifty years ago. She had only kind words to say, and her bright and sunny spirit will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. A celebration of life will be arranged.
