Jim Pell, born Aug 17, 1922 in Honolulu, Hawaii died peacefully at home on December 2, 2013. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Judy, sons James Jr. of Fairfax, David (Barbara) of Santa Barbara, Greg (Cathy) of Felton, and Grandchildren Joe, Anthony, Sage and Skye.
He enjoyed growing up in Honolulu, Hawaii where he graduated from Punahou in 1941. He attended Colorado State and Oregon State Universities where he joined the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. From 1944 to 1947, he joined the Army to serve in the Pacific theater. Jim spent the majority of his life in sales as a manufacturer's representative eventually becoming the owner of Pell and Co.
He was a Scottish Rite Mason and a lifetime member of the Honolulu Lodge. His affiliations included the Asiya Shrine Temple, Santa Clara Elks Lodge #2347, Royal Order of Jesters Court 4, Past President of the Sunnyvale Shrine Club where he was member of the Comics unit, SIRS branch 153, founding leader of the Prostate Cancer Support Group at the El Camino Hospital.
Some of his favorite memories were of playing high school football. He continued to love watching High School, College and Pro football. He enjoyed camping, fishing and the outdoors. Memorial services are pending. Memorial donations may be directed to the
