Billie Fitting

1928 - 2014 | Obituary Condolences
Billie Fitting
February 6, 1928 - January 25, 2014
Resident of Redwood City
Billie Lois Fitting passed away quietly on Saturday January 25th at home. She joins her parents Bill and Jessie Newsham and her sister Bettye Jean Jackson in heaven. She leaves behind her beloved husband Jerry, daughters Penny Dakhil, Cindy Mahoney, and Candy Thompson with 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Her passing followed a long and painful battle with Parkinson. She was an amazing woman who was a professional Hawaiian dancer and manager at Pacific Telephone before dedicating herself full time to being the best mother anyone could ask for. She took three very different girls and a busy husband and built an unbreakable family. She was always a lady who rarely lost her temper or raised her voice and yet never compromised with her family.
Her passing has left a hole so deep it can never be filled but her life gave the survivors the tools and memories to survive. She was a wonderful wife and an amazing woman but primarily she was the mom that all mothers aspire to be. She set the standard her daughters try to emulate.
We will miss you and will do our best to keep the family you created strong and together. We love you Mom.
A Memorial service will be held on Monday February 17th at 11:30a.m.
