Resident of Ben Lomond
Services will be held in San Jose on June 7th for Bob Cocilova who passed away at his Ben Lomond home on May 6, 2014. Born in San Francisco, he was 70 years old. Graduating from Mission High School, the Fire Department became his choice of a career. Starting in San Bruno and then to San Jose for 33 years total. Moving to Ben Lomond where he enjoyed "country life". Owning horses was a big part of family life as well as the years spent with the Ano Nuevo Horse Patrol and docent work. Bob was a talented cook. Many fond memories will be cherished by his family of the trips to Lake Almanor and entertaining family and friends at home. He was the "rock" of the family and made certain of everyone's safety and wellbeing. Helen, his wife of 50 years, will miss the twinkle in his eye, the smile in his heart, and the love he shared with his daughters, Christine (Delucchi) and Kimberly (Cocilova); son in law Mark (Delucchi); grandsons Nick and Trevor (Delucchi); granddaughter Maddy (Cocilova); sister in law Jo and husband Jack(Knoll); numerous loving cousins and extended family.Friends and family will gather for a memorial to be held at the San Jose Fire Museum, 1661 Senter Rd., Bldg. D1, San Jose, CA 95112-2522.
