Passed away peacefully May 23rd 2014 at the age of 67 at their vacation home in Graeagle Ca. Karen will be missed by her loving husband of 48 years Bob Suddjian . Karen was born in Palo Alto Ca, 1946. Married her childhood sweetheart in 1966. They enjoyed 48 year of loving Marriage and were blessed with 4 beautiful children, Deborah, Steve, Jeni & Keith Suddjian. She was loved by 5 wonderful grandchildren, Anthony Van Horne, Ryan & Tyler Suddjian, Madison & Courtney "Coco" Candler. Karen was a stay at home mom; raised her kids and enjoyed starting the family businesses of Meadow Electric with her husband Bob & son Steve, and Mountain Kids Day Care & Preschool Center with her daughter Jeni. She love painting and enjoyed sharing her painting skills with the grandchildren, traveling and spending time with the family. She has touched many heart in the town of Meadow Vista, and she will be greatly missed. A graveside service will be held at the New Auburn Cemetery "1040 Collins Drive" Auburn, Ca 95604. Saturday June 7th, at 10:00 am

I can't stop thinking about all the Suddjian's I've known for so many years and I'm so sad to hear Karen is gone and so sorry for your loss. She had a great smile and such a wonderful laugh. She obviously meant so much to so many people, which is a pretty great accomplishment in life. I'm sending love to her family and friends.

Karen, Had I known the last time we bumped into each other would be our last, I would have hugged you and not let you go. You can tell a true friend by not seeing each other for ages and still feeling that forever friendship when you do. Not having you in this world makes it a little darker...you gave light to so many of our lives. Had you known you would not come home again, I know you. You would have everything perfect. Bob would have five years of meals in the freezer; each child would have a special letter letting them know how much you loved them and how much you would miss your grand babies. Not fair. Not right that we lost you so suddenly. In your memory and in your strength, we will remember the good times. Thank you for being my friend, for listening to me, for raising my daughter and loving her as yours. I will watch over your Jen Jen for you. From all uf us here on earth, we love you and miss you. When I think of my Auntie Butch, I always think of her love of family and friends. She opened her heart to so many, and touched so many lives. We were blessed to have her in our lives, and so saddened that she is not here with us. Auntie Butch was always there to listen and encourage. She will be greatly missed, and we'll honor her by remembering the importance of family and friendship.

Karen, I want to say thank you... Thank you for putting up with me, for making me dust all your crystal nicknacks every Saturday,(with the white glove test:)) , for keeping me in line with that look that only you can give, and mostly for treating me like your daughter and making me feel like a part of your family. Karen oh my goodness I don't know what to say!!! You were my second mom. I remember scratching at your popcorn ceiling before I was five with Jeni and you getting so mad at us. I want you here to get mad at us now!!! I can't believe you are gone and am so sad for our loss, soooo many people love you sooo much! I hope you are flying with angels and having the time of your life with God. Not too religious, but I do believe that is what happens, we live again in heaven with all those that we lost and look after all that we left behind. I love you Karen!!!! You will be missed by so many. See you there.
