Shane Edwards Obituary

Shane Duane Edwards, 44 years old, passed away at his stepfather and mother's home in Nampa, Idaho, on Tuesday evening, June 18, 2012.
Shane was born on March 10, 1968 in Emmett, Idaho. He was a multiple saddle and buckle winner, and a true all around cowboy. He graduated from Emmett High School in 1986 and in September of that year he joined the U.S. Navy. He was married to Denise Wooley and has two beautiful daughters, Jordan Nicole and Katelyn Renee. Denise has a beautiful daughter, Alli, whom Shane deeply adored. Shane, Denise and the girls lived on the Navy base in LeMore, Calif. In 1990, prior to the end of his enlistment, Shane was hit by a drunk driver. He was in a coma for several months, and since then has had many trying years. He came to Idaho to live with his mother and stepfather in 1994, where he has had the very best of care and quality of life, even in his condition.
He is survived by his daughters, Jordan and Katelyn; grandsons, Chase and Shane; mother, LaVesta Harnden; stepfather, Cecil Harnden; father, Gene Edwards; brother, Kirk Buck; sister, Kelli Kamm; and many nephews, nieces, cousins and in-laws.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 23, 2012, at the Cremation Society of Idaho located at 5541 Overland in Boise, Idaho. Family and friends are invited directly following the services to Cecil and LaVesta's home for a celebration of Shane's life: 1210 Williams Lane, Nampa.
Shane was a true blessing to anyone that knew him, "One Terrific Guy."

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Edwards and Buck families. His short time on this planet touched so many and may we find peace in knowing he is free from the bonds of the human body.
