Spencer, Janet "Sue"*  
Janet 'Sue' Spencer 11/6/45 - 2/19/15 Former Gem County Chief Deputy Clerk, Sue Spencer, passed away on Feb. 19, 2015, at her daughter's home in Sacramento County, Calif., where she had relocated in July 2014. Sue is survived by her children, Rick Spencer (Kathy), and Lana Alton (Lonny); her grandchildren, Steven (Ashley), Craig, Lexi and Cody; and great-grandson, Sawyer. She is also survived by seven sisters, one brother and numerous nieces and nephews. Sue was predeceased by her husband, Ed (2010); parents Catherine (1976) and Guy (2000); and brother, Jim (2011). Born in Sacramento and raised in Rescue, Calif., Sue attended El Dorado High School, class of 1963. She was a longtime employee of Marshall Hospital prior to her and Ed's relocating to Emmett, Idaho. in 1991. She had recently attended her 50th class reunion and was looking forward to the 55th, as she'd had such a great time getting reacquainted with her classmates. To the Courthouse Gals - thank you for your gift of friendship. Mom treasured each and every one of you. At her request, private services will be held. Remembrances to the American Lung Association or the Wounded Warrior Project.

Super, George*  
George H. Super September 1, 1920 - February 18, 2015 Graveside service for George H. Super 94 of Bellevue, Idaho formerly of Emmett, who died on Wednesday February 18, 2015 at a Shoshone, Idaho care center will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday February 25 at the Emmett Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the Potter Funeral Chapel Emmett. George was born on September 1, 1920 at Penokee, KS. to Cyrus and Edna Elshire Super. He was reared and educated at Hill City, KS. After graduation from high school he moved to Emmett where his family had moved earlier. George joined the United States Army in 1942 and served during World War II. After his discharge he returned to Emmett. George married Lillian Holman on June 16, 1946 at Emmett. He worked as a mechanic in Emmett. He was recalled to serve in the Army during the Korean War. He was discharged in September of 1951. In 1967 they moved to Bellingham, WA. where he worked as a heavy equipment mechanic. In 1980 he retired and they returned to Emmett. In 2004 they moved to Bellevue. George loved camping, fishing, hunting and horseback riding in the mountains of Idaho. He is survived by his wife of 68 years Lillian Super and four sons, Don (Lorah), Gary (Wendie), Jim (Jan) and Joe (Racheal); one sister Ileen Hetherington (Bill); and 14 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Memorials may be mailed to the Veteran's Administration Hospital 500 W. Fort Street Boise, Idaho 83702. Please note that the memorials funds are to be used for the nursing staff as they would like to use them.
