Belinda Rae Lester, 45, passed away from a heart attack at her home in the early morning of Aug. 15, 2013.
She was born Dec. 12, 1967, in Missoula, Mont., to Gene and Bonnie Evenson. Belinda was raised and educated in Missoula.
She and her husband Paul met in 1985. They were married in 1991 after Paul finished college. In 1992, they both rejoiced in the birth of their daughter Melissa.
Belinda enjoyed being a service to people. Throughout her early life she worked as a waitress and also as a day-care teacher. Being a teacher for children was her greatest joy. As her daughter progressed in her schooling, Belinda became a full-time home keeper to be closer to her daughter and see her off to college. Belinda was always cheerful and funny, even through tough times.
She is survived by her loving husband Paul Lester and her daughter Melissa Lester of Emmett; her mother Bonnie; and her brothers Errol, Cody and Ron Evenson of Montana.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gene Evenson.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Aug. 23, 2013, at 6 p.m. at the Potter Funeral Chapel in Emmett, Idaho. Visitation will begin on Friday at 2 p.m. in the chapel at the Potter Funeral Chapel.
