Kimberly Sue Henson lost her courageous battle with cancer on Sept. 24, 2013, at her home in Emmett, Idaho. Kim was surrounded by her family at the time of her passing.
She was born on Aug. 21, 1968, in Columbus, Ohio, to Jeannie Ellinger and Jerry Johnson. Kim moved to Idaho with her family in 1982. Kim met the love of her life, her husband, William L. Henson, Jr., in Boise, Idaho and they were married in 1996.
Kim was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Johnson.
Kim left behind her loving husband, her children Scott Loader of Garden Valley, Idaho, Monte Loader of Boise, Nichole Stanfield of Boise and Danielle Stanfield of Garden Valley; her mother, Jeannie (Mike) Ellinger of Emmett; her brother Roger E. (Tammy) Dye of Emmett; and two nieces and three nephews.
Kim's greatest pleasure in life was enjoying her family and their adventures together, she was a dedicated daughter, sister, wife and mother. She thoroughly enjoyed the night drives that Billy and she would take in the last few months. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.
Services are under the direction of the Potter Funeral Chapel, Emmett. A family viewing was held on Friday at the funeral home. Services were held 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, at the Placerville Cemetery.
The family requests that contributions be made to help defray the costs of the funeral expenses in lieu of flowers. All contributions should be made through the Potter Funeral Chapel in Emmett, Idaho.
