Marvin E. Sanders

Marvin E. Sanders passed away Jan. 14, 2014.  He was born July 25, 1926, in Emmett, Idaho, to Henry Edger and Retta (Bittick) Sanders.
Marv was a military policyman (MP) for the Army Air Corps and after WWII he served as a Air Force Reserve staff sergeant until 1960.
He is survived by the love of his life Lois (Betzold) Sanders and her children; his children from his first marriage to Louise Hobson Sanders (deceased) - son Gordon Sanders and daughter Judy Sanders; his step-children from his second marriage to JoAnne Kelley Sanders (deceased) – Mick and Pamela  Kelley; his brother Forest A. Houtz; and grandchildren Colby and Autumn Sanders, Jason and Keri Rose; and great-grandchildren Brandon and Graise Rose.
Marv never met a stranger. He worked in Emmett most of his life selling cars and retired after 30 years with Bork Motor Company. His family and friends will miss his great sense of humor; plants also loved him and his extraordinary green thumb. He and Lois were also passionate together, cheering the BSU Broncos to victory.
A celebration of life is planned in the near future.
