Robert Eugene "Red, Bob, Bobby" Clites

On March 22, 2014, Dad was escorted by Angels to Heavens Pearly Gates, where we all are sure he was greeted with many open arms. Dad was born Aug. 13, 1943, in Phoenix, Ariz. and raised in Milltown, Ind., until the age of 19.
When he moved to Emmett he found his forever home. Dad started his work life with the David Little Farms, where he learned about the life he loved. He worked in the orchards where he met his next set of parents Paul and Maxine Abrell. Many a good time was spent with the Abrells. Dad's next adventure was working for Sanders Orchard. He had a fierce work ethic which made him the honorable man he was.
Dad's first marriage brought Candi and Penni.
His next adventure was his 43 years of marriage to Debby Hebert which brought two more kids Andy (Katie) and Tammy (Philip Stoffle) into his family.
Many more adventures ensued like being state archery champion, Boy Scout Leader, an avid bowler, an amazing fisherman, gardener extraordinaire, best pickle maker and the most fun Grandpa a kid could have.
He loved all his kids, grandkids, and great grandkids which not all were blood related. Dad did not know a stranger, making many lifelong friends and loved ones, and a following of women. He loved his sister Mary Ann and brother Aaron to the moon and back. But most of all he will be remembered for his stories … and how they grew and grew, and now he is with those who helped him make those stories.
The family wishes to invite you to a viewing of Bob at the Potter Funeral Chapel Thursday, March 27, 2014, from 2-8 p.m. and the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 28, 2014, at 11 a.m. at the Emmett Cemetery. We will be meeting at Potters and leaving from there at 10:50 a.m. for the cemetery. Thanks to Rivers Edge Rehab for taking care of and loving Dad like family.
