Alfred C. Wolfgram, 88, of Emmett, Idaho, passed away Oct. 6, 2012, at his home in Emmett.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, at the Potter Funeral Chapel in Emmett. Interment will held at 2 p.m. at the Dry Creek Cemetery in Boise, Idaho.
Alfred was born Dec. 30, 1923, at Carson, N.D., to Hilmer and Lydia Wolfgram. As a teenager he moved with his family to Boise. He served in the Army during WWII in the Philippines. After his discharge he returned to Boise and on April 15, 1950, he was married to Margaret I. Deroin in Boise. They lived in Boise and he worked as a painting contractor for many years before moving to Horseshoe Bend and purchasing the Diamond X Ranch. He loved horses and raised draft horses and built and refinished wagons of all sorts. He belonged to the Draft Horse Club and the Quarter Horse Association. They later moved to Eagle and in 2003 moved to Emmett, where they have since lived.
He was preceded in death by two infant brothers, Paul and Eugene and a sister, Irene Reich.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret of Emmett; a brother, Lester (Norma) Wolfgram of Meridian; a sister, Delores "Dee" Parke of Nampa; and numerous nieces and nephews.
