Cordal Weseloh, age 72, of Emmett, Idaho, passed away at home on Dec. 11, 2013.

Cordal was born Sept. 23, 1941, in Emmett to Paul and Millie Weseloh. In 1959, he graduated from Emmett High School where he was active in sports and was a member of the Emmett Valve Grinders Hot Rod Club.
Shortly after high school, Cordal enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he attained the rank of Aviation Fire Control Technician Second Class.
After completing his enlistment, Cordal returned to Emmett and for a short period of time was a dispatcher for the Emmett Police Department. Cordal then began a career in banking, rising to the position of bank examiner for First Security Bank. Cordal also worked for Key Bank before retiring.
Cordal enjoyed playing golf and fast cars and was one of the first to own the new 1965 Ford Mustang in the summer of '64.
Cordal was preceded in death by his parents.
Surviving is a son Chad in California and a brother Bart of Boise, Idaho.
