Edward Joseph Klinker died of natural causes on Aug. 21, 2012.
The Guest Book is expired.
Ed was born on July 8, 1930, in Denver but raised in the Gunnison, Colo., area.
After high school, he served in the U.S. Air Force. Upon returning to Gunnison, Ed worked on ranches and married Eilene Rescorla. They moved to Idaho in the early 1950s where they started their family. Ed was a long haul trucker and rancher for most of his working years. He loved the land and the equipment that it took to cultivate it. Ed was second to none in work ethic and he did so right up to his death.
Ed is survived by his wife, Eilene Ruby Klinker of 60 years; two sons, Joe and Mike; two younger brothers, Leo and Walter; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
There will be an informal memorial service held at his Emmett, Idaho, home on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, from noon to 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers please direct gifts to your local animal shelter.
