Emilia (Foruria) Beasley, 96, of Emmett, Idaho, passed away at Apple Valley Assisted Living in Emmett on Thursday, March 27, 2014.
Visitation was held Monday at the Potter Funeral Chapel. Services were Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at 1 p.m. at the New Life Christian Center, 212 S. Boise Ave. in Emmett, followed by interment in the Emmett Cemetery.
Emilia was born May 31,1917, in Boise, Idaho, She married Vernon Beasley on June 29, 1940. They had two children, Linda Lane and Michael Beasley. Vernon passed away Dec. 6, 1971.
Taking care of her family and friends and spending time with them was her focus in life. She was the center of our lives and loved by so many. She was a member of the Basque Museum in Boise.
Emilia will be missed by family and friends. Emmett; six grandchildren, Tony, Gelinda, Melissa, Jennifer, Paula and Lynzee; two step-grandchildren, Lisa and Micky; six great- grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her hus- band, she was preceded in death by her parents, Eusebio and Elena Foruria, her brothers, Mike, Joe and Chic Foruria and best friend and sister, Santa Sheldon, two sister-in-laws and her special great-grandson, Travis Jakovac.
Memorials may be made in her name to the Basque Culture Museum in Boise.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda and G.W. Lane and her son, Michael and Barb Beasley all of Emmett; six grandchildren, Tony, Gelinda, Melissa, Jennifer, Paula and Lynzee; two step-grandchildren, Lisa and Micky; six great- grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
