Lee R. Stover, 76, of Nampa, Idaho, passed away Feb. 25, 2013, at home with his family by his side. Lee was born Dec. 6, 1936, to John and Ramona Stover in Meadows, Idaho; he was the seventh child out of 12.

He joined the Navy in 1954 and served time in Guam and Hunter's Point, Calif. With an honorable discharge, he came back to Boise in 1957. Lee joined MK in the early stages of construction at Hell's Canyon Dam.
In 1959, Lee left MK to marry an old friend from the fifth grade, Patsy Torrey, they married on March 14. In 1960, they started their family and Rick was born, then Patti in 1961 and Randy in 1964. As a family they lived in Utah, California and finally returned to Idaho in 1971.
Lee was a hard worker; he worked as a paper-machine operator, meat-cutter, Safeway warehouseman, volunteer fireman, sawmill machine operator and millwright.
Lee is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Patricia and Virginia and brothers Bill, John and Doug.
Left to grieve and miss him, his wife, Pat of 54 years; children, Rick (Regina) of Boise, Patti (Will) of Benton City, Wash. and Randy (Cindi) of Boise; grandchildren, Justin, Marcus, Brandon, Drew, Erin, Emily and Kyle; and great-grandbabies; Gavin and Taya; his sisters, Marge of Caldwell, Ramona of Minnesota and Carol and Suzanne of Seattle; brothers Chuck of California and Wendall of Tacoma.
