Lottie M. Evans was born in Emmett, Idaho, Jan. 28, 1906, to Charles and Amanda Hall. She was the third of six children: Albert Knouse, Clayton Hall, Herbert Hall, Millie Wills and Marie Spoor, all who have preceded her in death. She passed away very peacefully while still in her home on Nov. 21, 2012, at the age of 106 surrounded by family and friends.
The Guest Book is expired.
She met Homer (Shorty) Evans and they were married Oct. 16, 1924 and had nearly 60 years together before Homer passed away. Together they raised two children. Lottie loved being a homemaker, only working outside the home when necessary.
She loved spending time with her family and friends. She was happiest when her health permitted her to be outdoors tending her flowers and raising a small garden. As she aged, she especially looked forward each Sunday when someone from the Emmett Christian Church would bring her communion and spend time visiting her.
She leaves behind a son Donald (Winnie) of Bandon, Ore. and a daughter Shirley (Rich) Humpherys of Boise; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank a special angel, John. The family would also like to thank Nancy Cooper, Horizon Hospice, Don Jones who was always there when she needed him and especially to Phyllis Soper who has been Lottie's care giver and companion for the last two and one-half years.
