Lynda Violet Walker passed away at home Dec. 2, 2013. She was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho, June 9, 1944, of Donna Harris Cordon and LaGrand Cordon, the third of five children.
The Guest Book is expired.
Her father, mother, brothers Brent and Curtis and sister Connie preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband Bryce; sister Kim Mathews of Boise, Idaho; nine children from her combined families; and 15 grandchildren.
Lynda was a beautiful, vivacious and inspirational woman, yet soft and warm hearted. She excelled at "Grandma Lynda," even as she was hampered by her debilitating multiple sclerosis. Not that she ever complained; she did all she could do with her limited body.
Bryce called her his "trooper," because of her courage and dedication to her several interests and callings in life. Those included stage dancer and singer with the Majors and Minors in Nampa, medical assistant to Dr. Burke, dental assistant to Dr. Croft and Dr. Turpen, wife and traveling companion to Bryce for 27 years, grandma to 15 kids, Sunday school teacher to scores of kids, LDS Stake Missionary in Boise and hostess for the LDS Addiction Recovery Program in Emmett.
Funeral services were held Dec. 7, 2013, at the LDS Chapel in Emmett, Idaho. She was interred at Bramwell Cemetery.
