Robert Wayne Douglas "Prune," Payette, Idaho, passed quietly away at his home surrounded by family on Tuesday, March 25, 2014. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at Shaffer- Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette with a viewing from 9-10 a.m. prior to the service. A committal service with Military Honors will follow at 2 p.m. at the Idaho State Veteran's Cemetery, Boise. He was born on March 1, 1933, to Warne Clifford and Bessie (Allen) Douglas in Emmett, Idaho. Devoted husband, father and grand- father; Bob's passions in life were his family, friends, cooking and singing kara- oke. Bob was also very proud to be a veteran and to have served his country during the Korean Conflict as a Boatswain's Mate in the Navy. He is preceded in death
by his wife of 57 years, Lois (Rynearson) Douglas.
He is survived by their five children, Kurt, Cliff and Rebecca, Charles, Marla Apodaca, Philip and Joyce; daughter-in-law Deborah Douglas; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
