In 1990, prior to the end of his enlistment, Shane was hit by a drunk driver. He was in a coma for several months, and since then has had many trying years. He came to Idaho to live with his mother and stepfather in 1994, where he has had the very best of care and quality of life, even in his condition.
He is survived by his daughters, Jordan and Katelyn; grandsons, Chase and Shane; mother, LaVesta Harnden; stepfather, Cecil Harnden; father, Gene Edwards; brother, Kirk Buck; sister, Kelli Kamm; and many nephews, nieces, cousins and in-laws.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 23, 2012, at the Cremation Society of Idaho located at 5541 Overland in Boise, Idaho. Family and friends are invited directly following the services to Cecil and LaVesta's home for a celebration of Shane's life: 1210 Williams Lane, Nampa.
