Thomas Anthony Ignacio (Tom) passed away at the age of 62 in Emmett, Idaho, on Tuesday, May 1, 2012, from natural causes.
Thomas was born July 27, 1949, in San Diego, Calif., to Thomas J. and Felicita Ignacio
He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, then went on to serve the San Diego County Animal Control until he retired as a lieutenant at the age of 55 and moved to Emmett where he spent the rest of his days with his family.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Ann Ignacio; his five boys, Thomas Anthony Jr., Andrew James, Cameron Michael, Devin Addison and Harrison Russell; his older sister, Jeanne Urene and younger brother, Richard Ignacio; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial mass will be held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 211 E. First St. in Emmett on Friday May 11, 2012 at 11 a.m. Everyone who knew Tom is invited to join us in the celebration of his life. A reception will immediately follow at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Potter Funeral Chapel in Emmett.
