Omeleta Johnson Ashley Sullivan, 97, of Emmett, Idaho, passed away May 29, 2014, at a Boise, Idaho, hospital.

She was born Feb. 19, 1917, in Emmett a daughter to Lorenzo and Clara Johnson. In 1938, she married Leston "Jiggs" Ashley, they lived in Letha where they operated the Letha Garage. They had three daughters, Connie Davidson of Boise, Donna Norman and Elaine Ashley both of Emmett. They were involved in square dancing for 25 years. Omeleta was also active in 4-H for 20 years. Leston passed away on Dec. 25, 1976.
Omeleta moved to Emmett in 1978 and she was married to Fred Sullivan for 23 years. Adding step children, Donna Rynearson and Mike Sullivan of Emmett.
Fred and Omeleta were busy with the senior center in Emmett and square dancing. She was involved with ladies exercise class and lead the group for a number of years.
They were members of Good Sams Club and traveled a lot. She was the volunteer of the month in 1982 at the senior center. Fred passed away in March of 2005.
In addition to her children and step-children she is survived by a brother, Alfred and Virginia Johnson of Oregon; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands and two brothers, Lawrence and LeRoy Johnson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 5, 2014, at the Potter Funeral Chapel in Emmett. Interment will follow in the Emmett Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 3-8 p.m. also at the chapel.
