Ted Daniel Perkins, 59, of Boise, Idaho, passed away Aug. 4, 2014, at a Kuna Assisted Living Center.

Ted was born in Emmett, Idaho on July 5, 1955, to Lawrence and Annabell Perkins. He joined two brothers and two sisters, Bill, Bob, Sue and Jan.
He was blessed to be raised in Ola, Idaho, a place where as a kid he could run free. Ted spent his childhood riding horses, climbing hills, fishing and hunting the occasional rock chuck.
Ted served four years in the Navy, getting to see many countries. He said he didn't see anything he liked better than home, so he returned to Idaho to live.
Ted married Carol McNeil. They had 23 years of marriage raising Carol's two sons, Joe and Chris. Later he married Debra Lewis.
Ted had a love of law enforcement and spent most of his life working in that field is some capacity.
Ted was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence D. Perkins and two brothers, Bill and Bob Perkins.
He is survived by his stepsons, Joe and Chris McNeil; sisters, Sue and Jan; sister-in-laws, Barbra and Nadean Perkins; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
We will greatly miss Ted but realize that he has gone on to his next great journey.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014, at the Ola Community Church in Ola. Urn burial will follow in the Ola Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of the Potter Funeral Chapel, Emmett.
