Maureen Haley Obituary

Maureen (Gormley) Haley, 77, of Marlborough, died on Tuesday June 26, 2012 at her home. Born in Framingham, daughter of the late Joseph and Clotilda (Michaud) Gormley, she was the wife of the late Robert J. Haley, who died in December of 1991. Maureen was a graduate of Framingham High School Class of 1959 and had been a resident of Marlborough for fifteen years. Previously she had lived in Southborough, where along with her late husband she owned and operated Maureen's Restaurant for over twenty five years. Maureen loved quilting and baking goodies for family and friends. She is survived by one son, Bryan Haley and his wife Kerry of Shrewsbury: two daughters, Laureen Collentro and her husband David of Westborough and Denise Haley and Danny Waugh of Framingham; one brother, Paul Gormley of Florida and a sister, Barbara Wills of Foxboro; six grandchildren, Christopher, Danielle and Haley Collentro, Kara, Megan and Bryson Haley, many nieces and nephews and dear friends Connie Clark and the Furtado Family. She was the sister of the late Joseph Gormley Jr. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday June 29, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Stephen's Church, 261 Concord Street in Framingham. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visitation at the Eugene J. McCarthy and Sons Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln Street, Framingham will be held on Friday morning before the Funeral Mass from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Private burial will be in Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donation's in Maureen's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701
