Dorothy Dowd Angelone, 78, of Framingham, died peacefully on Monday, June 30, 2014. She was the wife of Renato Angelone and the daughter of the late William J. and Mildred OHara Dowd. In addition to her husband Renato, she leaves her daughter, Julie Hamm and her husband, Richard of Hopkinton, her son Raymond Angelone and his wife, Stephanie of Norfolk, and her daughter, Kathleen and her husband, David Mitchell of Wilmington. She also leaves her much-loved grandchildren: Brian, John, and Lauren Hamm, Aeden and Lilia Angelone, and Owen and Abigail Mitchell. She is survived by her sister, Ann and her husband, John Mahoney of Lexington, and her cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends. A graduate of Forsyth Dental School, she was employed for 48 years as a dental hygienist. Dorothy was an active member of St. Anselm's Parish who especially enjoyed her family. She loved cooking and baking for everybody, reading, Ogunquit, picking blueberries, playing cards, Irish music, the Patriot's and the Red Sox, her dogs, and was well known for her great sense of humor. The family has planned visiting hours on Monday, July 7, 2014 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Duckett-J. S. Waterman & Sons Home of Memorial Tribute, 656 Boston Post Rd., Rt. 20, Sudbury. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, July 8, at 10:00 am at St. Anselm's Church, 100 Landham Rd., Sudbury. Private burial will take place at St. John's Cemetery, Worcester.
