Joseph James Jay Anderson, 43, of Framingham, died unexpectedly on Saturday February 5, 2011. Jay laid down to take a short nap and woke up in the arms of the Lord. Born in Framingham, and raised in Natick, moved to Ormond By the Sea, FL when he was 8 where he enjoyed surfing, fishing and the great outdoors. He moved back to Framingham at the age of 13 and graduated from Keefe Tech High School in 1985. He worked hard as a painter, remained and avid fisherman, Harley rider, camper and anything outdoors. Jay will be loved and missed terribly by his partner of 15 years Tammy Goodwin, his son Hunter David and daughter Brooke Lee and step-son Craig Coffey all of Framingham. Jay will be loved forever by his parents, Albert Abby and Susan (Johnson) Anderson of Framingham. He is also survived by his sister Lisa (Anderson) Norton and her husband Derek and their children, Cameron Marie and Tyler Ray all of Summerfield, FL. Visiting hours at the Norton Funeral Home, (www.nortonfuneralhome.com) 53 Beech St., Framingham will be Thursday from 4 | 7 PM with a prayer service to follow at 7 PM. Burial will take place at a later date in Pine Hill Cemetery, Sherborn. In lieu of flowers, a trust fund has been set-up for the Anderson children at TD Bank, Nobscot Branch, 770 Water Street, Framingham, MA 01701, attn: Anderson Children Trust.
