Kenneth S. Fulton Obituary
Kenneth S. Fulton of Cumberland, RI (formerly of Franklin and Natick, MA), the beloved husband of Patricia Swift Fulton, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at home, after a nine-year battle against Mesothelioma. Besides his wife, Pat, Ken leaves behind his daughter and son-in-law Suzanne M. and Steve Crosby of Northbridge, MA and Pats son, Aaron G. Babcock of Mansfield, MA. Ken is predeceased by his parents, W. Henry Fulton and Katharine H. Fulton, and Kens son Jason M. Fulton. Ken has two grandchildren living in Northbridge, MA and two grandchildren living in McAllen, TX. Ken is survived by his siblings, Thomas M. Fulton of Manchester NH, James E. and Beverly Fulton of Exeter, NH and Katharine J. Fulton of Natick, MA and Biddeford, ME. Ken was formerly married to Linda K. Fulton of Uxbridge, MA. Born in Boston, MA on August 22, 1942, Ken grew up in Winchester and Natick, MA. He graduated from Cushing Academy in Ashburnham, MA and earned a B.S. and MBA with honors from Babson College. After graduation, Ken enlisted in the U.S. Navy Reserve in 1965. From 1967 to 1969, he served during 3 tours of action on board the U.S.S. Intrepid and in-country with the Seabee Battalion 121. He received an Honorable Discharge in 1978 with the rank of Lieutenant. Upon returning to civilian life, Ken worked for over thirty years in materials management for high tech companies in the greater Boston area. In 2002 he retired, but drove a school bus part-time for 10 years. Ken enjoyed nature and physical fitness activities including tennis, hiking and cross country skiing. He loved contra dancing and the dear friends made while dancing. Ken found happiness and love on the dance floor when he met Pat. Ken was also an avid reader and follower of politics. Friends and family are cordially invited to gather for a Memorial Visitation with Veteran's Honors on Thursday, February 15, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. | 5:00 p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA, immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 5:00 p.m. at Dyer-Lake Funeral Home. Burial will be private. A Childrens Room is available during the visitation and funeral service.
