Krysti G. Ketchi, 83, a resident of Natick for 18 years and formerly of Framingham, died Tuesday Feb. 12, 2013 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Lorraine L. (Hirth ) (Cunningham) Ketchi with whom he shared 55 years of marriage. Born in Brockton, he was a son of the late George and Eftalia (Shupelka) Ketchi and was graduated from Framingham High School. Following a tour of duty with the Army from 1946-1948, Mr. Ketchi attended and graduated from Boston University. He began his career at Ford Motor Co., starting in the warehouse and later as a computer operator until the location was closed. He then worked at Aritech and for Eye World operating and running various computer software. Following retirement, Mr. Ketchi worked part-time delivering flowers for several area florists. He was a family centered man who enjoyed jazz and big band music, classic musicals, cars and stereos, and a good laugh. His greatest joy was being a devoted husband, father and grandfather and he was loved and will be missed by his family and friends. He was a social member of the Columbus Club in Framingham. In addition to his wife, he leaves a son: Bob Cunningham and his wife Sally of Northboro, and 2 daughters: Kim Ketchi Fontaine and her husband Chip of Framingham and Karyn Ketchi Demore and her husband Michael of Shrewsbury; 4 grandchildren: Noel Ketchi and wife Cori of Marlboro, Sara Biadasz and husband Sean of Auburn, Laura Erb and husband Robert of Oxford and Allison DeCoff of Shrewsbury; 5 great-grandchildren: Tess, Kali, Cole, Jaxson and Max; a brother: Peter Kristo and his wife Virginia of Arlington; 2 nieces and 2 nephews. Visiting hours are Sunday Feb. 17 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Boyle Bros. Funeral Home, 173 Union Ave., Framingham. A funeral service will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with burial following in Edgell Grove Cemetery, Grove St., Framingham.
