Lois Mae (Aspinall) Andrew, of Tyngsborough, passed away peacefully, Sunday, April 10, 2011, at the Merrimack Valley Hospice Home in Haverhill. She was 86. She was the loving and devoted wife of 51 years of Richard K. Dick Andrew, who died in June 2000. Born Aug. 5, 1924, in Pittsfield, she was the daughter of the late Harold J. and Doris (Wigglesworth) Aspinall. Lois was a 1942 graduate of Pittsfield High School and later attended Becker College in Worcester. She went on to work as a secretary at Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. for many years prior to her retirement. Lois and Dick lived in Waltham briefly before moving to Framingham in 1955. She was a member of the Plymouth Church in Framingham. Mrs. Andrew is survived by her sons, Richard Andrew and his wife, Nancy, of Tyngsborough, and Jonathan Andrew and his wife, Allison, of Arlington, Va. She is also survived by her grandson, Schuyller Andrew; and her brother, Bill Aspinall of Orleans. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation Friday, April 29, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., at the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech St. (corner of Union Avenue), Framingham, followed by her funeral service at 11 a.m., at Plymouth Congregational Church, U.C.C., 87 Edgell Road, at Framingham Center. Burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to a charity of ones choice.
